It is not easy to shoot a fish in the pound without the knowledge of refraction. Many of the shopkeepers or hotel owners put lemon in a glass of water to drive away evil eye effects. In this the lemon appears bigger than its original size due to refraction. In the night sky we observe twinkling of stars due to multiple refractions.
